getting busy

The time is near. The first Lindenwood newspaper is coming out next week. This newspaper is the extent of one and a half semesters of work.

I dunno, I have thoughts of students and professors running into the journalism lab and yelling at us for missing some event on campus.

Don't get me wrong, people can and should give constructive criticism; i just can't stand it when people who have no idea how to run a newsroom want to judge. I guess it's like that in every profession.

Oscars

Maybe, I just don't like the Oscars. I don't understand that Hollywood types makes millions of dollars, live dream lives and there still has to be several award shows to honor them.

I know what people will say "if you don't like then don't watch" well I don't, but it still bugs me.

Maybe I'd think differently if I was an actor, director or something of the sort.

Theyhave awards for real people. They should televise "The Best Trucker Awards". They could be called "The Truckees".

"Larry Bob get the "Best Trucker Award" for not spilling his beer while pulling a double load to Flint, Michigan.

Joan and Melissa could judge their outfits.
